@iraaus It's hard to see who in fact that history belonged to after 1300 years.Algebra was invented by Omar Khayyam, he was from Neishabur Iran.The only "islamic advancement" you see is when Arab invaders inside Persia used our architects, scientists and mathematicians to their own credit. The only time that Baghdad was the center of science & literature it was owned by Persians. By the way the name "Baghdad" is a Persian name and the city was built by Persian king.
