Ron Fontaine Dollars For Scholars Run
5K, 10K, and 1 mile are scenic runs starting at CALM at 8:30 proceeding east on the bike path along the north bank of Lake Ming. The 10K course includes running along the dirt road below the Lake Ming section of the bike path. The event is sponsored by Bakersfield South Rotary. All proceeds go toward scholarship for selected graduating seniors from South, Stockdale and Ridgeview High Schools. Last year's run raised almost $12,000 which was distributed among the three high schools
