Speaker Jesse Ferguson details the six fundamental worldviews - the six basic categories that every religion and non-religion can be described with. They are: Fatalism, Determinism, Pantheism, Appeasement, Naturalism, and Warfare. Jesse goes over each and talks about worldview dissonance, which happens when a person holds multiple conflicting beliefs.
Ok, point taken. However, I think you also misunderstand my point. I think you make the mistake of limiting the word "belief" to always having a god or religious being as its object. Atheism cannot be a lack of belief, but a lack of belief in "theism" certainly atheism believes somthing about the world, its origins, its purpose (or lack of purpose), its place in the cosmos and so on... These beliefs...shape a worldview. What do you think?

you missed the point. perhaps if you replace the word 'anything' in my statement with 'any particular thing' you might get what i am saying.

You honestly think that you had and/or have a blank slate? common. When is this "state everyone has before believing anything?" How would even define or recognize this "state" when was there a time when you recognized in yourself that you did not believe anything?

"as such it shapes your view of the world"
wrong
lack of belief is the state everyone has before believing anything. It as much shapes a person view of the world as a blank canvas determines the painting that will be on it.

Who is this guy and what credentials does he have? He clearly has a surface level knowledge of many things but that quickly fades into ignorance.

Exactly, and as such it shapes your view of the world, thus your worldview. Don't be so defensive.

Seriously, this guy knows nothing about what he is talking about! Just listen to how many times he say "or something".

atheism is not a worldview, it is a lack of belief in gods for pity's sake. So many people get this wrong.
