New Official Guinness World Record for the "Most Guitar Strings Changed in One Hour" Set by Glenn Haworth of The Conspiracy Plan on 15th March 2009 at Haworth's Shellharbour Music Centre, Albion Park Rail NSW Australia. Haworth holds the record at 183 strings! Thats 30.5 Guitars in One Hour! All guitars must have original strings to begin with and the new strings must be tuned to pitch.

@UnXsIsT only real problem you can have with doing them all at once is if the bridge is floating. in which case the springs in the bridge will give you a real problem getting the bridge back out of its hole

@Thr3eFiFtySeVen ha ironically enough i was talking about my floyd rose today. worst bridge to tune ever. once you have it tuned the bridge is fantastic, but the tuning part is a real time killer. also i hate the strat. gibson ibanez and schecter are the way to go

@UnXsIsT can cause very very slight change, you might only notice that the new strings take a little time longer to settle in, it wont snap your neck. unless your doing something wrong ofcourse.

That's not the best way too do it, takes all the strain of the neck of the guitar, which COULD cause it to deform of even snap.

But meh, who am I to judge.

dude it takes me 1 min to tune a guitar if its a strat string a floyd rose and then tune it in Standard EADGBE
