The flight is from KDEN to KEWR, flight number is UAL752, plane is a b757-200.
Flight plan is PLAIN4 MCK J44 LNK J60 IOW GIJ CRL J584
SLT FQM1.
I did leave apart a few minor aspects of the plane, like the weather radar, which I'll maybe look into if people are interested in it.
Hope you enjoy the tutorial!

  • Don't want to burn you down to the ground, it's not a bad tut but you sure did make some mistakes. Ie with the lights. Once the aircraft has elec. power you should ALWAYS turn on the position lights. Also, 9/10 times you start the APU 10 to 5 mins before your standard time of departure. Starting it right after power-up is a waste of fuel if you have a gpu (ground power unit) available to you. Just a few tips ;-) Nope, I'm not a real pilot, still working on that!

  • @Stefan0n9 Thanks for the tips :). I'm obviously not a 757 pilot either. I know there are many flaws in my tutorials. My goal isn't to make them perfect, but to help other enthusiasts get the most out of these wonderful add-ons! So you're planning on becoming a pilot? Private or commercial?

  • @marko071988 Always glad to help! Well, I'm starting my PPL (Private Pilot License, it's a recreational license, although every pilot, even commercial ones, get it ) In the mean time I want to finish my study and do another one, since there's no work for pilots these days. After that 2nd study it would be a dream coming true if I could attend the Oxford Aviation Academy's Waypoint Programme. ( modular course, waaay cheaper than integrated, but with the very same books etc. )

  • @Stefan0n9 Yeah I know what the PPL is as I'm taking it too. I started in France, did all my dual and solo hours, but moved to the states before I could take the test. Now I'm flying in the US. My instructor has all his ratings but can't find a job at an airline, the job market for pilots sucks indeed! Good luck with your career :)

  • how can i load my own flightplans to fmc?

  • @drake123josh Ahh okay thanks bud!! Fixed now!

  • @aircraftinformation assuming you are going to use vatsim or a pro network, your flight plan has to be spot on, I use FSCommander i simply hit the departure arrival and i hit i altitude airways and because my FSC has cycle 1201 its accurate then i hit save and load it in fsx flightplanner. you way is alot harder you will have to know your route [PLAIN4 MCK J44 LNK J60 IOW GIJ CRL J584

SLT FQM1.] then make waypoints under (find route) edit the waypoints to match the lat and long of your VORs

  • @drake123josh Okay thanks dude.. I may have covered this problem.. I just need to know now which routes I programme in.. For example if you click on waypoints on Vroute a huge page of waypoints come up... Then if you go on the page where you type in your flight level, aircraft, flight number there are more routes, shorter than the others.. Then when you load up Flight Sim there are evn more different ones with VOR's, intersections etc... Which ones do I use?

  • @aircraftinformation you have to buy the most accurate AIRAC Cycle from navigraph. the Cycles change frequently meaning the routes and database changes frequently. Its unfair that you have to buy it but it is a sacrifice for realism. current Cycle 1201

  • It's saying that it can't find the airports (not in data base).. Please help me!!
