i think than the only people than can say if boeing or Airbus is Better are a pilot, cause they know perfectly how to take the people and reach they destination, cause they know if the plane are safe or not, they dont care be comfotable, they care made his work god, and i tink than airbus and boeing has exelent planes, boeing is not better just for be the first..........

I'm for boeing, and don't really like Airbus, but damn! Airbus makes great planes (apart for the A340) Boeing must work harder, or they'll loose! Come on boeing! Develop a stretch for the 787!!

But yeah, B's like 50 years older than A. A is really working hard (and has worked) on safety matters with aircraft. B is making planes with environmental-friendly materials. They need to each other, because competition makes us work harder. What I really hate is that stupid proud-to-be-american tone when talking shit about Airbus, like they were perfect. Boeing was first, doesn't mean it's better.
I applaud both Boeing and Airbus.

One must be an idiot to start a fight over Boeing vrs Airbus, first off no company is giving anything to waste my time on them, second, as long as you get safe and sound to your destination, does it really matter whether is B or A?
Boeing people, mostly americans, wish Boeing was the only aircraft maker in the world because their economy's been awful lately, and because Airbus's been selling more. If there a monopoly things can get bad, we need competition!!!

@tkpx8 There is no company in the world that can have the same reliability or track record as Boeings commercial line up. It is american engineering and that is why it is so powerful.

@wahaya2 B747-8i is the longest airplane every made. Yes!! I can hear you say size does matter :) Dont get caught up on numbers, one way or the toher Boeing will always top the charts.
