  • did anyone else see hitler at 3:18 to 3:22 o.O

  • @IIIDoCIII haha... that is Gene Krupa! Funny, he doesn't even have a mustache. Probably an errant shadow, but yeah I see it.

  • I love this! How did you get hold of the footage?

  • I found it on an out-of-print videotape called "Chicago and All That Jazz."

  • they have vid on worldstarhiphop

  • @princesstav tons of us are so inspired by his dancing and ability to entertain! Does your family talk about him much? I've wondered what he was like. If you were able to interview family members who remember your great grandpa James and share, we would be so indebted & excited! =)

Frankie Manning lived so much longer, so it was a real honor to hear him talk about his life and the golden era of the lindy hop at the Savoy. Wish we had the same with Leon James.

  • Fantastic, i wish I knew which was which tho!

  • Inspiration

  • Love these guys.

  • this just looks like so much fun

  • Do you need to stretch before doing this kind of dance? =)

  • Leon James is my great grandpa =]
