Please, the Doc completely blew it and Martha is Mickey's now and this beautiful, intelligent, brave and funny woman gives her all love to him, and the Doctor gets nothing; better luck next time.

@ForeverisGone13 According to Tennant the Doctor never quite accepted Martha, so no, I never thought he said anything of the kind to Martha. Rose, Joan, Astrid, Reinette, Sally maybe, but not Martha. She got a lucky escape considering what happened to the women he loved.

I never thought what happened to Martha was tragic. She liked him, he didn't like her, she sucked it up, got out and made a good life for herself. How is that tragic? What could she have had with the Doctor who is immortal? She was much better off with Tom or Mickey, espcially after Mickey grew up and got over Rose.

okay this might just be me....i havent watched the episode yet....but at 2:08-2:010 or something it looked like he was shouting "I love you". That's probably not the case though

I really feel that HER story gets lost in the middle of everything else in Series 3 so that's why I made this. You focus on the Doctor (how can you NOT? look at him!) and his loss of Rose and wanting to set things right everywhere he goes (sans the fam of blood - that was downright vicious and cruel... but i loved it!). She really gets lost in the shuffle. She got kidnapped on her second trip, for goodness sake! Poor Martha, even the writers kicked her to the curb, LOL!

yeah, i think so too. She came in at an inopportune time, and her love was just trampled upon. and unlike xMrs.xTennantx, I don't think there was any spark between them at the end, he just didn't want to lose her, but he couldn't stop her from leaving, he had no right to. he had to let her go. he did love her, but not the boyfriend-girlfriend type love. he did realise her worth more then and he knew what he had lost in her then. really sad for both of them.
