i got a ? im purchasing a similiar product not yours but when you first get it do u need to charge the battery?

@Charlesmillz I don't what device you've purchased or where it was manufactured; but I would advise you to charge it before use, preferably via computer as some devices come with low quality chargers.

FYI, the resolution is not 1280x960 in reality. The CMOS sensor is only capable of 640x480.

@arkda This particular model has a CCD sensor, so it is capable of a 1280 x 960 resolution.

Okay so here's what i'd like to know. Does this keychain spy cam have a motion detector? I guess what i'm implying is that I'm looking for a spy cam that will pick up on motion. As far as lighting goes, just as long as when the lights are on, everything can be seen visibly well. I like that the cam records and what not, but I need something that will just pick up on the motion and start recording. If this item does not do that, do you have any suggestions for me? Thanks in advance!

I bought one of these just looks little bit different more compact, found it very useful and quality of recording is really great. So i actually bought another one as a present for my dad them ones i found on techasus.com

packaging says it is an 808...which is not 1280 X960 but 720 X 480 I have THREE for my planes. also you will NOT get "a few hours of recording" with a 4 gig card. got mine on ebay 13 bux each.

why is mine zoomed when i try to record it works but when i see the video its so zoomed i cant even see what i tried to record ????? pleaseee helpp

@dburford9 I'm in the Uk and never had a problem with these cams, I've got 1 X 1280 x 960 and 1 DVK 808#11 720p HD cam. Both work great and I bought them both from Ebay.

@dburford9 You can find these on ebay. The best one at the moment is the 808 #11 which records in 1280x720 resolution. It's about £25. They're tacky cause it's Chinese and cheap.
