Yesterday, Intel unveiled its new addition to its Learning Series, the convertible classmate PC with improved performances and better e-readings capabilities. Powered by the Intel Atom low power processor the convertible classmate features a 10.1" LCD (1024x600), WiFi connectivity, optional 3G and WIMAX connectivity, up to 8.5 hours of battery life with the 6-cell option, a built-in swivel camera, built-in audio and microphone, and has a durable construction with hard drive protection, a water resistant keyboard, touchpad and screen, and a scratch resistant case.
