Highlights from Aid for Trade Third Global Review

On 18 and 19 July 2011 heads of international organizations and regional development agencies, as well as private sector high representatives, discussed the results achieved by the aid for trade initiative, launched in 2005. According to WTO Deputy Director-General Valentine Rugwabiza, "when trade opening is coupled to aid for trade, then we can see that aid for trade is actually playing the role of an accelerator of development".
