Hello and welcome to Raw Food Diet Inspiration. I am Darlene Navarre your host. The other day I received a question. This person asked if one could live off of fruit alone. Now, I am going to put a disclaimer on here. I am not a doctor and I can only come from what I would do.
I have lived off of fruits for an entire year--fruits and greens. I believe that greens are really important because they provide chlorophyll and other key nutrients that are important for your body as well. Living off of fruits is available for those, like my self, who choose. I love fruits! Fruits are my favorite food; however, I also add greens as well, fruit and greens are the best combination for health. There are a lot of fruits that you wouldn't consider to be fruits--like tomatoes, peppers, red bell peppers. There are lots of yummy fruits that are not so sweet and more on the savory side.
I really enjoy, especially during summer time, eating lots of watermelon. Later I snack on greens and in addition I make a green smoothie, with fresh fruit and leafy greens. I like to blend certain fruits together like pineapple and oranges and add some greens to the mix, it is really delicious. It is possible to live off primarily fruits as many people eating an 80 10 10 diet, already do.
I personally have found it also important to add leafy greens into your fruit based diet as well. Greens have many nutrients in them that are very important as well. Greens are the number one source of minerals and fruits are the number one source of vitamins, together they complement one another.
Keep in mind every food from nature has carbohydrates, proteins, and fats. Enjoying fresh foods from nature are perfectly balanced. Even avocados are a fruit, a fatty fruit. Durians are another fatty fruit. Enjoy these foods as well in moderation.
Now, there is little controversy if nuts are actually fruit because they come from a tree, that is a possibility that you could explore, and just remember that nuts are a fat. We have our seeds from the fruits as well like right inside, my favorite seeds are apple seeds. I love to just eat the entire apple.

Righto, fruit...greens no problem. You should see how many bananas I purchased the other day -I was so excited I made a youtube clip about it. Nice to see you making more videos, haha I'm drinking a green smoothie right now (spinach, banana, blueberries, flax).
