Brooklyn-based Tim Fite brings his high energy to a pointed assessment of America's current financial state (a.k.a., how we're all poor now) with his song "For-Closure," performed live in our studio. For the straight audio version of "For-Closure" and all the songs performed during this Live Studio session, listen to DJ Maia's Live Studio broadcast here: http://www.breakthruradio.com/post/?dj=djmaia&post=1032&blog=32&a...

Tim Fite's journey from rural Jersey to Brooklyn has taken him through the realms of hip-hop, indie, country and rock with short pit stops at a number of visual art milestones along the way. Now in 2011, Fite has multiple album releases under his belt, not to mention several short films and collaborations, including a producer credit on a forthcoming stage musical. But no matter how prolific an artist he's become, he's as accessible and down-to-earth as ever. Case in point: all his works are available free on his website. Lucky us!

  • HOW HAVE I BEEN A MUSIC FAN MY WHOLE LIFE AND NEVER HEARD OF THIS GUY!! I FEEL LEFT OUT!!

  • Tim Fite has been my homie since like 2005 Myspace days. Mad motha fuckin props to one of the realest mutha fuckas out there.

  • @Gypsymusicmonkey I had the same damn experience.

  • I found about Tim Fite by just random choice at the local record store. I sometimes purchase an album just by cover art alone (Gone Ain't Gone) which in this case works out for the best. No outside influences just me going with cover art instinct. It also worked for Man Man's Rabbit Habbits, Lyrics Born's As You Were.. More people should try this way at purchasing music instead of being fed.

  • Good shit man. Props from Birmingham AL.

  • Amazing. Love your work Tim.
