Leaders from China and Africa start a three-day summit in Cairo on Sunday to boost economic ties. China is now a major investor in the resource-rich continent but it has also outsourced some of its production there. One factory in Egypt is manufacturing products for Chinese companies that, once finished, are exported.Duration: 01:49

  • and the US? u think the US gives a shit about africa? china has built raods, hospitals, schools, infrastructure for africa. and u want to talk about sudan? lets talk about how the US supported african dictators and rewarded them for their loyalty. remember idi amin? remember the CIA training his troops?

  • listen, the US and west have always been giving aid to africa. but that will only help africans in the short term. china is doing what many others have not - investments. china is offering jobs, skills, entrepreneurship, and opportunities to improve millions of lives. africa is the least developed continent in the world. and china is building so much infrastructure for africa do develop and become wealthier. investment is what africa needs. not continueous aid. think about it

  • @destroyxeverything yep and let's not forget about Canada's "CHINA-MEN HEAD TAX", also let's not forget that majority of Chinese workers died making that railroad and got welshed out of majority of their wages.

  • @hcn9 yep China cares to actually INVEST, yep like teaching a man to fish rather than just give him a fish. Who would feel threatened by Africa's independent sustainability? think about that... China is building infrastructure for Africa, investing in Africa makes it more sustainable.

Together China & Africa = brotherhood as the title suggest.

  • africhine

  • @hcn9 also the aid given by the west is forced on them at high interest rates so that yall can justify stealing the resources due to failure to pay back.. also the aid is used the way the west says so.. like on their multinationals contracts so the money is given back .. there is no real aid.. china is doing something and the west is maaaaadddd so they try to sow seeds of fear and distrust talking about neocolonialism and abuse.. they want africa to be poor abysmal and vulnerable to their theft

  • Western people just give you some American or Euros for your goods and tells you to

come to their country to spend it, while taking your resources and labor.

China raises your countries standard of living, raises your income, help build your roads, help build your power plants, and just wants a portion of the income as return.

    Fair and square <-- no?

  • @hcn9 listen the U.S and the west have always enslave africans for almost three centuries lol

  • america , uk evil twin

  • Ghana would be designing and building cars right now if it was'nt for America overthrowing the Greatest African President in history Kwame Nkruma! He set Ghana on the path of rapid Industrialization. America could'nt stand that and helped to stage a Coup. Maybe now African Nations can rise to a first world status. Europe and The US has retarded Africas development long enough. God Bless Africa and China!

  • china done well

  • At least China does not bring guns or opium to Africa and impose its values on Africans.
