listen, the US and west have always been giving aid to africa. but that will only help africans in the short term. china is doing what many others have not - investments. china is offering jobs, skills, entrepreneurship, and opportunities to improve millions of lives. africa is the least developed continent in the world. and china is building so much infrastructure for africa do develop and become wealthier. investment is what africa needs. not continueous aid. think about it

@hcn9 yep China cares to actually INVEST, yep like teaching a man to fish rather than just give him a fish. Who would feel threatened by Africa's independent sustainability? think about that... China is building infrastructure for Africa, investing in Africa makes it more sustainable.

Western people just give you some American or Euros for your goods and tells you to

come to their country to spend it, while taking your resources and labor.

China raises your countries standard of living, raises your income, help build your roads, help build your power plants, and just wants a portion of the income as return.

Ghana would be designing and building cars right now if it was'nt for America overthrowing the Greatest African President in history Kwame Nkruma! He set Ghana on the path of rapid Industrialization.
