  • I am a Canadian man married a woman from the philippines, Her parents own a rice field. I would like to buy him a machine like this, and a machine to handle the harvest.

Can you direct me to a seller please,

    I am in Canada

The machines will be used in the philippines

  • @anthonyguada Hi, It's been a busy fall. I do not know of any sellers outside my area but I would suggest doing a search for used or refurbished equipment. There are a few resellers in Asia. New equipment is so expensive and the shipping costs are outrageous. Look for Kubota or Yanmar and also check alibaba.com to see if they have some reasonable equipment. It would be best, I think, to find a seller in the Phil. because you would want to be able to repair it or replace parts, etc.easily.

  • great technology" is that works also in deep mud? specialy philippines?

  • @larzky1039 This does work in deep mud because the "wheels" of the machine are not rubber, they are metal. They are narrow and have notches on them so they can rolls through thick sticky mud without getting sucked down or stuck. Just before planting and during the first flooding, we plow the fields to about40 cm depth to let the water soak in. It's pretty deep and very sticky! You can look on the Yanmar or Kubota sites to see some examples of these machines for sale, also Alibaba.
