Here's how it began: The 50 Quarters Savings Challenge started as a personal quest to collect quarters from all 50 states.
Averrhoes began this interest after he decided not to own a car and depended on the Caltrain and buses for his travels around Silicon Valley - his own quest to save money.
Told his friend, HP, about this 50 Quarters Challenge. He got excited and suggested to Averrhoes that they should share this challenge to others in a creative and fun way. Their hope is to see more people begin saving and having fun challenging themselves and others to collect all 50 quarters. Good luck!
