i have now have a breeding pair they have laid eggs 4 times now twice a week after every water change
but they keep eating them :( any ideas

I have developed both as a bacterial filter, a mechanic, I'm going to boil water to remove chlorine and carbonates (in my cologne water is hard and alkaline ), Please.. For you attention very Thanks.

Boiling water is very simular to using an RO unit to filter water. Both these processes will kill the bad but also the good effects found in water. I highly recommend you treat your water with a buffer before adding it to your tank.
