for those losing their shit over the guitar: the real drive is given by bass in this song, he's done a great blend of the chords and the bassline. btw, the chords are more or less just a bunch of variations on D and C(sus2, maj7 etc). go see j mascis's live acoustic rendition if you don't believe me - he improvs a bunch of it anyway.

@MrStompbox It might not be what J. plays, but what's the point of doing a cover if you're going to copy it note for note? I think it sounds awesome. It sounds to me like a good blend of J's guitar and Mike's bass (assuming Mike Johnson played the bass on this song on the record.)
