  • if there was any doubt in the great, great talent of vivien as an actress..well..blanche proves her range as a serious actress. being sooo different as scarlett, and both roles..the most important women roles in movie history..DONE BY THE SAME ACTRESS!!..and so perfectly..amazing!!. THOSE WERE REAL ACTRESSES!! carlos

  • She is an incredible actress, and was ahead of her time in taking on such an unlikable scarily unstable character in the very controversial play. Vivien simply was something else;)

  • @xDanotchka You think so? I've never thought of Blanche as unlikable. In fact, of everyone she's the easiest to love.

  • One who relyed on the ''Kindness Of Strangers'' a line from the movie

  • i agree with u, and with gwtwcarlos. amazing actress...DESPITE her beauty....cause she wanna be recognized as an actress, not as a beauty...and she WINS!!!

  • Awesome tribute to Vivien Leigh as Blanche DuBoise in the 1951 film adaptation of Tennesse Williams "A Streetcar Named Desire".
