  • @pouncey007 It get warm around the lens because the heat from led chip it self is transfered trom the casing to the lens. Shine the lamp straight into you face (eyes closed of course but in you face because you are quite sensitive to heat in your face) can you feal a scorching heat that will boil your skin off? No you cant because the light from a led does only include a very small ammount of IR -> heat, only a very few percent that is far from enough to generate any significant heat.

  • @dtiydr....I have few tactical LED lights and the metal gets pretty warm around the lens, they are between 200-250 lumens. Any flashlight with 4000 lumens is going to put out some serious heat. Anyway, it's still a cool flashlight, I just would not leave that unattended.

  • @pouncey007 LEDs doesnt give off heat in their light like incadecent do, only the chip does in LEDs so nothing will melt.

  • what type of bulb is it

  • it uses a cpu heatsink, very creative

  • your'e gonna melt that plastic flashlight in less than 60 seconds. I can see right through it when the power is on.

  • how much?

  • You can't do much with a flashlight that's tethered to the wall. Cool just to have though.

  • i tiny bit floody if you ask me...

  • It Has and air cooling fan built in, I can hear it kick in every time you turn it on
