This is from the movie, "That Certain Age". Here we have a 16 year old Deanna Durbin singing at a Boy Scout jamboree. The Boy Scouts of America were so grateful that they made Deanna their first girl member. The violinthief, who was also a boy scout, is especially proud of this achievement by Miss Durbin!
*Note: As a rule, I don't put up videos on Youtube that others have already posted. However, the other versions of this song are sped up and in the wrong key, robbing Miss Durbin's voice of much of its warmth. It is out of respect for Miss Durbin's artistry that I make this post so that her fans, both old and new, can finally hear this song as she originally performed it.*

Thank-you for this inspirational clip. So nice to see our young people getting involved in worthwhile activities such as the Boy Scout movement. Also, Deanna Durbin became the very first female Scout in the world!

My channel is devoted to music only - I don't post entire movies. I'll leave that honor to the other DD fans on Youtube.
