  • Ramin is more seducing that JOJ is. His interactions with Christine are more intimate and romantic.

  • @Elizabeth111Music That's what I love about John's Phantom. His control is amazing. Ramin is by far too straight with Christine, in my opinion. I don't see his MoTN as anything romantic or intimate. If anything, I get the feeling that he's just desperate for sex or something (basing this on watching Ramin several times). John makes the song a mix of seduction, a lullaby and a lecture about music. Also, believe me, if you seen John live your pants will mysteriously disappear.

  • @oscarreygo How Gerard Butler is better? I mean, not only is his voice not suitable for the Phantom at all (in my opinion, anyway) he's also horribly untrained. To be honest, he's much like Ramin - untrained and completely off pitch. Ramin at least has a potential, Gerard needs a lot of work. His acting was okay minus, nothing special there, and the whole "I'm a sexy Phantom so I'll pout" approach doesn't work. At all.

  • I really really wished they used JOJ in the 25th Anniversary. Ramin's singing was good, but I really didn't like his acting. I LOVE John's acting and his voice is wicked sexy.

I'd let him sing to me everyday. <3

  • @mattg177 If they cast JOJ, too many boyfriends/husbands would complain that their girlfriends/wives were drooling on the couch... RUG and ALW didn't want to get sued for the lust that would be aimed at the tvs... (but omg it would've been soooo much better)

  • I don't know what's going on here. It's like Gerard Butler all over again with Noodles. Sure, Noodles is pretty, but he has serious intonation and pitch problems. JOJ is good, better, best. The end.

  • Ramin untrained? Is eveeryone high and deaf? Not only was his acting supurb, but his control was mind-blowing.

  • 0 dislikes? Better stay that way...

  • John Owen Jones is great, but no one compares to the master: Anthony Warlow!

  • My favorite Phantom singing my favorite song. I think I'm in love. <3

I love Ramin Karimloo, but I ADORE JOJ. How is it possible for someone to have a voice that fantastic? Seriously, how?

  • @Belliole I like John a lot. And I DID see him live and I melted into a little puddle at the sound of his MoTN. I know what you mean about the "control" of John's Phantom. But Ramin has a different... aura to his Phantom. I see the Phantom to be more open with Christine (of course this is my own take on it), which is why he is more straight forward with her during this song.
