Climate Camp - badges on!

NSW police must wear name badges. Here is one who had forgotten to put her bade on before going on duty. A number of other NSW police failed to wear their badges during the entire Climate Camp protests.

Is it just me, or do the right-wing trolls recycle the same 5 lines every time they comment on videos? And it's always the same trolls commenting on several videos. Yet these people tell us to 'get lives'. Ironic don't you think?

Also note that CFMEU workers - coal miners - joined this demonstration in solidarity. The difference is, unlike you mr/ms. right-winger, these workers are not slaves for the boss.

For the record, what makes you above of this democratic societies rule of law? Regardless of "Cause" wealth or lack there of? Also Please explain how in your words "unemployed person contribute far more to society than many paid workers!"

If Camp for Climate Action were constructive, realistic and effective I am sure society would have heard about your great solutions and supported them. As to not inviting Police what planet are you on! They are there also to protect you from hurting yourself or maliciously damaging property. Do you seriously expect the police to show up with two officers when your unlawful. Police were not violent they did there job lawfully. If protestors did it lawfully there wouldn't have been an issue!

For the record, I don't get Centrelink payments. Those at the camp who do had a right to be there - wealth does not confer democratic rights - and contribute far more to society than many paid workers. Think before you make stereotypical comments.

I wonder how many of the people posting comments here know anything about the Camp for Climate Action.

We are putting forward solutions - a just transition to a sustainable future based on renewable energy and energy efficiency.

Another part of our practical solution is getting ordinary people to stop the expansion of the coal industry themselves through non-violent means.

There was no violence directed at police, despite police violence. We did not force police to come, they chose to.

Seriously, guys get a life or more importantly a job! I laughed hearing the commentary here. You know nothing. You are bush lawyers get a job and be constructive members in our society instead of wasting society resources, those police had better things than to baby sit ferals.
