A message from The Teacher:

Recently, a serious violation of human rights occurred in Taiwan. A Chinese delegate visited Taiwan in the past few days. The pro-China KMT government in Taiwan asked the police to confiscate any representations of the NATIONAL FLAG OF TAIWAN the anti-China street protesters had with them (for fear of the potential to irritate the Chinese official). The police even beat up those who refused to give up the flag. This is the NATIONAL FLAG we are talking about. Moreover, the protesters were not allowed to wear T-shirts or wave banners that say "I am Taiwanese, not Chinese" and "Chinese officials are not welcome." Those who did were removed, handcuffed, or even beat up by the police. This video is the evidence.

THIS IS A SERIOUS VIOLATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS AND FREE SPEECH CONDUCTED BY THE GOVERNMENT.
