Attachment Therapist Neil Feinberg Terrorizes Adopted Child (Final Clip)

This is a small clip from the premier Attachment Therapy training tape, made by the Attachment Center at Evergreen (renamed the Institute for Attachment and Child Development) in Evergreen, Colorado.

This three-hour tape shows what an adopted/foster child is subjected to in the Center's "Two-Week Intensive," a popular form of Attachment Therapy used around the country. Children will be in "Holding Therapy" for 2-3 hours each day, ordered to lie on the therapist's lap, with one arm pinned behind the therapist's back and an assistant restraining the other arm. Children will be humiliated, threatened with abandonment, forced to make false confessions, tickled relentlessly, poked, and forced to renounce their birth parents.

The therapist shown here, Neil Feinberg, was forced by the State of Colorado to permanently surrender his social work license in 2010.

This is sick. As an adopted person all I can say is this is why so many of us hate the very reality of our lives. All you non-adopted people out there have no clue about the psychological torture we endure all our lives. F*ck adoption

I feel like i just witnessed someone getting raped... You say you fight these people but do you even know where this child is right now? Who is taking care of that boy? Is he being helped and protected as properly as he is entitled to now? or is he back in the Social Services 's bullshit "endeavors"? @TheRealRanktwo Sadly, children will often come to the adoptive parents with the diagnosis of RAD or PTSD and the parent will be introduced to this criminal behavior toward their children by the agency. The child may not be placed with a family that doesn't agree to subject them to this torture. I don't understand how an agency can give a child to someone saying, "They're sick and they won;t bond with you unless you do this". and not eve give those involved a chance to bond, but they do.

This quackpot crackpot literally turned my stomach. Who protected that boy from that crackpot? The way he talks to and about the child and taunts him is just plain sadistic and cruel, sorry. I think Neil Feinberg is one sick mofo and watching this exercise in cruelty IS like watching rape. I hope that crackpot has been brought up on abuse charges.
