Why did I let them bamboozle me; why didnt I put up a fight?

Why did I become routine and bland?

I could have been as unique as a finger print

Why am I like a cloud in the wide sky, as if a deserts grain of sand?

Why am I, as common as well water that folks drink?

I should have stood strong as if a mountain

I should have added flavor for their tongues to savor
