Walked around here when I lived in the village.
Some of the buildings are still there and were used for many years to grow Rhubarb of all things!
There is now a modern newly constructed metal barn/warehouse but, from the road, these nissan huts can still be seen especially this time of year when passing by with no foilage to obscure the view.
I believe that these huts should be preserved as they represent the last wartime buildings of the 303rd and would make a great museum to that group.

My Grandpa was a co pilot on a B-17. One day, on a mission over Musselshaven, his plane was all shot to hell. The pilot was dead and everyone bailed out to safety. My Granps was not one to quit and bail. He was scared, hurt and frightened. Well, he stayed with the plane as it plunged straight down from 18 thousand feet. The ground came up so fast that the planed exploded on impact. Well sir, what do you think what happened to my granpa? He died, of course.

My father was stationed at Molesworth with the 360th in 1944. Thanks for a nice memorial. It would be worth preserving the old barracks as a museum.

Wonderful. Been researching my uncle who died on 303/358 raid on Oscherslaben Jan 11, 1943. This somehow caps the whole experience. Thank you so much.

currently work at the location at Molesworth, I will trek over and get a status on site 7 this week, thanks for the video, I had no clue there were even barracks over there.

I was stationed there in the mid-90's at the JAC (Joint Analysis Center). Wasn't much left then so I can only guess what it is like by now. So much history, so much sacrifice. Let us never forget!
