It was truly awesome to see these go, and a little bit scary if I'm honest :-)
There was no official public viewing area, but thousands of people lined the edge of the exclusion zone to watch.
The three tower blocks (Glenalmond, Hermiston and Weir Courts) at Sighthill in Edinburgh were all demolished successfully just after 11am on 25/09/11.

I grew up in Broomview, it's weird to see those 3 go down....we used to play Wide Games there
