Classic lines!!! I wish this rivalry lasted more than three episodes because Caitlan could have really been a good foil for Amanda.

Caitlin definately let Amanda HAVE IT lol! she probably would've "won" too had she not went on that tyrade about "people usurping her power". I wish Jasmine would have reprised her role as Caitlin on Melrose in a later season, to make good on her threat at the end.

I think your wrong. I think she would have eventually got the hang of it. Jasmine Guy's character was fierce. She would have knocked Amanda off her pedestal.

Two things happened with Jasmine Guy's acting during her stint on MP: first, the writers weren't able to give her lines which challenged her acting potential because its range was so vast & changing. Second, Jasmine seemed unable to keep up with the show's pace & tone. The themes & scripts at MP were different than the themes & scripts at A Different World.
