The third video of the three-video battle. I had a little difficulty trying to position the morph ball, so it took a bit longer than i thought it would to beat the Spider Guardian.

I too hate this boss. I've been breezing through the game up until this point, and now I've lost to him 3 times. They leave absolutely NO room for error in getting to the bomb switches in time.

I HATE spider guardian. WHY is that a stupid lowly rolling pillbug would be the hardest boss fight in the whole game??? "hard" is not the right word, its just annoying... irritating... time consuming... maddening... and boring. I loved echoes, its such a good game. Advice: if you want to replay echoes, keep a saved copy after SG boss fight. this way you can play the whole game minus stupid SG.

I beat the bugger earlier today thanks to you! Though I got the game about a year ago, shortly after receiving the Wii (never owned N64 or GC during my time in school = low income = priorities), I never got passed this nuisance and concentrated on other games while saving up the patience for another go with Echoes. After beating him I was totally exhausted, he took me about 20 minutes in one go, and that's the last 3 bomb slots alone!!! Thanks, I really needed your help on this one.

ive had this game since the year it came out for game cube, stopped for a while...years. came back, got to this bastard, and i cant stay on the little hill long enough to bomb up to the second slot. it's almost frustrating enough to give up entirely.

If you want to buy yourself more time, hit her with a bomb again while she's blue.

I wish more 3D Metroid incorporated 2D stuff. It's refreshing.

WORST PART OF THE GAME IS RIGHT. There are no save points near this boss which makes it even more of a pain. IO get so exausted playing that I can only try to beat him twice a day. Then I have to try again the next day or week, or even year. I've had this game for like 2 years already still havent beat it.

the remake in Metroid Prime Trilogy has the boost guardian and spider guardian weaker i think. since everyone has a hard time with them :)
