This song was written during the Cold War era where the geo-political powers of the time employed tactics of avoiding conflict hangs over a doctrine called MAD (Mutual Assured Destruction). Today, the way other countries relentlessly trying to develop their nuclear technologies, planners will have to conceive a new doctrine that describe humanity's collective march towards self-inflicted Armageddon.
