Yes you can if you do it correctly.
The key is Engine Management System.
You need a correctly sized turbocharger, intercooler, intercooler piping, new exhaust & downpipe, bigger injectors, by-pass, standalone EMS & a lot of work to put it together.

The car was not finished when the videos were filmed.
Car is a bit faster now with 0.65bar and standalone EMS.
0-100km/h ~8.5s with slipping clutch (SRE performance clutch kit is already waiting).

Hi mate could you tell me the main mods you had to do to get the turbo on and running? did you changed the pistons at all? As i'm thinkin of turbo'ing mine.

No mods to the engine but I can tell you, that the rods are very fragile when you look at them so I'm afraid that there is not much room left to go.
Our initial idea was trying to boost it @ 1.0bar with E85 fuel.
Engine is been reconditioned at the moment but with stock internals.
When this engine fails then it's better idea to go with 20V Turbo conversion.
