Mahamandaleshwar Paramhans Swami Maheshwarananda, founder of Yoga in Daily Life system teaching Shashankasana Yoga pose
In Shashankasana, the head is bent downwards, allowing better circulation towards the brain.
This has numerous benefits, such as improved concentration and memory.
It is also a rejuvenating, refreshing, and relaxing pose.
There are numerous physical benefits that are a result of practising Shashankasana.
The Gyan Indriyas, our senses, which are located in the head will benefit a lot because of the blood circulation towards the head.
Shashankasana can be used when you are extremely weary or tired. .
Do not practise Shashankasana if you have high blood pressure, high eye pressure or if you feel dizzy.
