"Return to the Scene of the Crime: The School of the Americas Protest of 2006" documents the journey of a group of peace activists from Milwaukee, WI as they journey to rally at the gates of Fort Benning, GA to protest the crimes that have been committed by graduates of the U.S. Army School of the Americas (now known as the Western Hemisphere Institute of Security Cooperation).
The film documents the travel, the day-by-day activities, the rally at the gates, the vigil, and everything in between regarding the trip.
It is serious and somber at times, but it is also humorous and lighthearted.
