This is me (Piet Arion) doing "I Dreamed A Dream" by the famous Musical Les Misérables. You wanna know why I did this cover? Then read the description:

The song is usually written in a register for a female singer, so a lot of people first think: ok it is a "girl-song" why is he singing this song. There are a lot male versions of this song and I am sure that when you go with the emotions of the song that also men can have them. The only thing is that I decided to do it in the original register and a lot of people have no capability to accept something as it is, only because it does not fit into their world and imagination like they use to know things to be. And an other thing I will never understand - there are people out there who care so much harm inside of them and spread it whereever they go. But really "I wish you well".

I did the song, because when I was young I had dreams how my life would be when I grow up, and as you know, there are things that happen to us we did not plan.

I appreciate people who respect all of me, my singing, my personality, everything. A lot of people cannot understand to see a male like this. Some hate me for doing the song in a female register - but whatever people say, this is what I say to you: stay true to yourself!

My wish was to do a song that maybe can move somebody, coz I know the feeling, when there is only emptyness inside of you coz once "you dreamed a dream" and this dream died. I did the song how I would do the song for myself, when it is not your taste - ok well, go and watch something else ;) but do not sit around all day long and judge people coz your own life is a mess.

I don't play a role, I am just myself - and that is hard enough. And for you - remember, don't let anybody take away your inner peace and your true authentic soul. Stay true to yourself, be who you are - someone will like it and fall in love with you - and the others? - don't care about them, coz they maybe do not have love for anybody inside of them!
Remind yourself that you are a good person and so it is ok what you do, forget about all the disrespectful. Enjoy life, have a good time - Piet Arion
