"You can't read the fine print, like I can!" A probation officer in his local county for 23 years and still going strong, Tom Poynter possesses a rare combination of effective problem solving and confidence that is truly impressive. His main job responsibility is to prepare reports for people incarcerated in prison or jail. The small font used in his company's case management system makes reading difficult. With the majority of his time spent in front of a computer screen, Poynter's 22-inch monitor, in conjunction with screen magnification software, allows for effortless dissecting of key information, with no strain on the eyes. In the portability arena, Tom uses a small magnifier to read books and proofread reports. Tom, being a good Samaritan, referred a friend of his who had a stroke to the INDATA hotline. He says that the services and peace of mind made all the difference. He hopes that his friend will experience the same level of comfort as he did.
