It's pretty straight forward to switch tacks on the wire. You unclip from one side before the boom goes over and clip into the wire on the other side. I'm sure there's many ways to do it, but practice in light wind to get used to the motion. When on the wire, keep the forward leg straighter than the back leg for better balance. Start with a wider stance and as you get better experience move your feet closer together. With the H16 especially, keep the weight as far back as possible. Good luck!

im hopign to get a hobie 16 soon but i never sail something wit a trapize berore so what happens to the trapize line when you tak or jibe?

hobie 16? ...... where were you sailing. Like to see another tape put to rammstein music, or some Queen. I want to go from usa to spain, france, etc to sail a 16 at a resort. As you were wearing full wetsuit, must have been nice weather, not 30c degrees or 100f
