@xigronaus thank you very much for this explanation, helped me a lot!

Could I use my mc 303 sequencer to trigger and write songs for the drumstation using midi?
-
Great video. Really enjoyed it thanks!

I LOVE it!! tomorrow ill buy it for 200 euros. :)))

How are you doing this? Are you running the drumstation with the a-station's arpeggiator or are you running both from an external sequencer? Or other?
-
good demo from what these instruments can do

I'm always doing that, then when you find yourself sat at the pc all ready and eager to bid... the bids go sky high !!
Still... I got a Micro Ingram 17" flat screen monitor at the bootfair last week for £1 !!
plus another 17 "" relysis one for a £1 also !! and both work perfectly.
Happy Bidding mate, hope you catch the next bargain !!

anyone knows the reset combination for the Drumstation----please helpp!!!!!!
reminds me why I got an a-station in the first place. now if only it wasn't 1cm wider than the rails in the rack :-(

Is it really wider? Mine got the standard size...

Yeah, it might well be the width of my rack, but all the other kit goes in easily. It will go in but this is only because the rack is tall enough that I can put the a-station in rotated and then push it down at the ends to squeeze it in.

Ok you're right. I got some different racking solution for the moment, so slightly wider back doesn't bother me. Anyway, good luck with your A-Station!

What is triggering the drumstation? I want to trigger it from a quasimidi 309 but neither the 309 nor the drumstation has a midi omni/poly mode. So my 309 sends out the kick on midi ch. 1, the snare on midi ch.2 etc. When the drumstation has midi receive ch. 1, only the kick is triggered. How do you solve this issue, or have you set up ableton to send out drumsounds on different midi channels?

You will always have one receiving and sending channel in MIDI for drumstation. What you trigger are different MIDI notes. I set up Ableton sequencer so it triggered different notes for drumstation. If you would for example played a midi keyboard plugged via MIDI to drumstation, you would trigger different drums with different keys. This is exactly the way you do it via using you sequencer. On the page of 47 of drumstation manual you have the exact midi notes percussion map for all sounds.
