When the wind is very strong like in this video ( you can easily hear it ) , open the sails is dangerous because the speed of the blades will be to fast.
In mid wind the sails, will be open partially and totally if it is slow.
Believe me , I live in Holland from 3 years so far.......and I did already a video dedicated to this wonderful piece of old technology, I will make soon other 2 videos. So in little world the experience, is the point, the owner will decide if use or not use the sail.

@lexmarks567 Don't be so sure they can turn when not under load with out sailcloth, and only two sails set when light work is needed. It sounds from the sound track that it was a windy day! Say no more! Why waste Electric powering a machine that could make all the power needed if a generator was fitted?
