On June 11, 2009 Charles C. Lynch was sentenced to one year and one day plus four years probation in Federal Court for operating a City Sanctioned Medical Marijuana Dispensary. Lynch was facing a five year mandatory minimum sentence but applied the 'safety valve' to Lynch and gave him the lighter one year sentence. Lynch walked out of the court room on bail pending appeal.

  • he should have walked THIS IS BULLSHIT!

  • @beautifuldisasternee thats horrible man, just know that you have all of the medical marijuana patients behind you! aint nothing but a thing dude, take life one day at a time. i got popped for sale and possesion of a narcotic, im not the type that sells either

  • try and get a doctors note! shit man some state laws are messed up. If you can show some medical nessecty all judges are human.

  • i am currently facing 1 to 5 years in prison for growing seven immature marijuana plants in my bathroom in west virginia. the state is recommending the maximum sentence. i have no other convictions

  • He shouldn't have been charged with anything. This is absurd. Rapists who plead down to burglary get less time than that.

  • you pcops need to wake up a realize when you fuck with peoples money it doesn't matter what your day job is ppl are going to start taking this personal and cops families will start to disapear and i will be there laughing

  • keep up your fucking shit your names are on those warents and we know who your are and soon you will know how it feels to have everythng you care about taken away

  • If your sentence is over one year you qualify for time off for good behavior. The extra one day was a favor, a gesture of leniency from the court.

  • This IS wrong... There are no telling how many people from foreign countries here against federal AND state law and yet there is no action, yet this innocent man is imprisoned for something his state allows... why not crack down on a real problem.

  • This is wrong. The 10'th amendment should protect state law shouldn't it?
