My customer want to install solid floor over a concrete and i have recommended plywood base and nailing solid on a top.
1. should i use DPM over concrete , if yes can it be foil or liquid ?
2 how to fasten plywood to a concrete , anchors , hammer plug fixing etc. or glueing?

Really good, I was wondering at first why they started in the middle of the room. Now I know why.

Do you start applying the hardwood floor in the middle of the room and move towards the side, or cn you just start from anywhere?
Thanks

is possible to install hardwood floors over concrete, usually on floors above ground level, you have to consider that the floor has a moisture level acceptable for installation. I have had many successful work on concrete floors, but I feel more comfortable installing engineered flooring. Remember that you must consider many factors when installing this type of flooring, such as the floor must be flat, moisture acceptable quality of glue etc.

which way is better this glue installation method or the traditional way of put plywood before installing hardwood?

Both techniques are good, but the glue installation technique is less costly in comparison with the other. Another benefit of current adhesives for installation over concrete, is that the adhesives are prepared to handle more moisture.

I thought real hardwood over concrete was a no no. What did you do about moisture? What type of glue did you use?

Whether your home has a basement or is on a concrete slab, you can put hardwood floors on concrete floors. Installing the hardwood floor requires addressing several issues specific to concrete, however. Grade, or whether the installation is above or below ground level, the age and moisture content of the concrete floor and surface flatness all play a part in a successful wood floor installation.
I recommend Sikabond T55 and Bostik glue are the best on the market.
