XX Maremma Cup powered by SRAM - 2010

SRAM XX kicked off the 2010 racing season right where it had ended in 2009: on the podium, with a clean sweep at the XX Maremma Cup powered by SRAM, held in beautiful Massa Marittima, Italy.

This week long racing series attracted a record number of top athletes, including World Champion Nino Schurter and Florian Vogel of Scott-Swisspower, Julien Absalon and his Team Orbea, the Multivan-Merida powerhouse featuring Jose Hermida and Ralf Naf, Cannondale Factory Racing with italian star Marco Aurelio Fontana, and the new teams Trek-Bart Brentjens and Felt Otztal Bionix.
The action packed races throughout the week were dominated by XX riders, with Marco Aurelio Fontana taking the overall XX Maremma Cup title.

Even the European MTB Press got their chance to test and race the latest Pro team XX bikes on the trails in Massa, also having the opportunity to prove their skills against champions like Nino Schurter in a timed session on the race course.
