The Conservation Partners Program is managed by the NSW Department of Environment, Climate Change and Water (DECCW).
Its primary aim is to inspire and encourage private landholders across NSW to protect and conserve important wildlife and natural heritage on their properties by proclaiming their property a Wildlife Refuge or by entering into a permanent Conservation Agreement that protect those conservation values forever.
Over 1,000 private and other public landholders in NSW have already made this contribution to conservation, protecting and conserving more than 1.94million hectares of wildlife habitat and natural heritage across the state.
We are hoping that through raising further awareness of the Conservation Partners Program more landholders in the community will come on board and help to protect and conserve special places on their property for the benefit of the wider community and leave a legacy for future generations.
