The American Dream was a lie to make obedient workers work harder to make other people rich.

The people who work on the factory floor should own the factory and be paid directly out of the profits of the factory just like the factory owner. It's been proven by for profit cooperatives like Mondragon Cooperative Corporation and Union Cab that when the workers own the work place, they get better at their job, they work harder, and they're support their community.

I'm most afraid of who'll take office in 2016. But as far as 2012 until then, I intend on casting my vote and putting my faith in Obama to continue the extraordinary progress he and his administration has begun. I see greatness in him, and more importantly, in America.

@CrystalsandCandles He is human, after all... :) Only so much any one person can do. He works long hours. Most of us wouldn't be able to keep up. I've disappointed people in my life, I'm sure... and I'm betting you have, too. Nobody can please everyone.

@CrystalsandCandles There is only so much you can do through Executive Order. Anything that is related to the budget has to come through the House. Aside from that, Executive Orders can (and often are) overturned by the next President of an opposing party. If DADT had been repealed by EO, those who had come out would be vulnerable later on. He did it the way it should have been done - so that it was permanent. And delaying the Tar Sands Pipeline - that may have killed it entirely. We'll see.

@MiniRtist I agree about the GOP my friend, If I may call you that, but.... There are a number of things that the majority of the country was in favor of that Obama could have achieved through executive order and did not attempt to do. Don't Ask Don't Tell for example and stopping the Canadian tar sands pipeline rather than delay it, for another. He is a very smart man. He had to have known that the 'Publicans were going to do what they did. I knew it and I'm just an average guy
