@youngace187 I can understand why people would think this but you have to understand it all comes down to artistic integrity. As he states in this interview, his work is not intended for film and should not be transferred from one medium to another as it's not an area he works in. As an artist I actually find it very honourable.

well i loved the graphic novel and at first i didnt want to see the movie but a load of my friends who have also read the comic book say it was brilliant and that while it wasnt as good as the book,it was amazing in its own right,so i want to see it!

I've read the book twice, I didn't want to see the movie originally. But curiosity has gotten the better off me.
