Hope they took the driving license from the one who tried to assassinate you. What mode was the pedelec set? ECO or Normal? You had quite some work out despite the electric motor supporting you ;-) I really like the Kalkhoff ebike and hope to get one soon ;-) just adding all your ebike videos to my watch later list ;-) Thanks for sharing and happy and safe rides :-))

Thanks - unfortunately British drivers don't have much respect for cycle riders :-( The Pedelec was set to normal. I use it there most of the time as I find the eco mode doesn't give you much more range.
On normal, I get about 27 miles, down from 30 now that the battery is nearing a couple of years old. You can get an 18ah battery now. It's a lot of money but I may think about that when this one gives up. It'll go for 3 years at least, though judging by past performance.
