2nd Performance - The Backbeats - "Breakeven" - By The Script

I thought a different person should've sang this song or at least started off by someone else. Sometimes she sings really fast and it doesn't sound good when she says the lyrics so fast. I like the song but i thought they could've used someone else for this one since it's not really a power ballad. B

Ben's critiques were so spot on throughout the whole competition. I think any prospective reality singing show judge should be forced to watch Ben's performance all last season to show them the right way to do it. Unfortunately, most celebrity judges aren't as bright or studied as Ben Folds. Sean is really good as well and a great complement to Ben

@hollyways Wow...I absolutely LOVE Joanna. I don't get the potato remark at all. She is SOOO much more emotionally involved as a vocalist than Catherine. The fellow, Etan, would have been a good choice to do the whole song....I agree with that sentiment. In fact, next to Joanna, he was the best vocalist in that group. Pity he was sacrificed for the emotion-deficient Kenton. That guy's stage presence bugged the crap out of me.

This song makes me cry because someone I know sung this with her mate at our school's talent show and then he committed suicide a year later. :(

I love the two girls singing at the end, but I think it would have added more of a variety if others sang throughout, I think that's why this one seemed a little flat even though the arrangement was beautiful

@hollyways She's amazing - I don't think she has a potato in her mouth. But this probably wasn't their best work.
