I really admire James. I can say what people saied a million time already: he realises and tries to overcome a grave problem. Addiction is a bad thing and realizing you are addicted and how that screws you up is the first step towards changing.
But I'm not here for this.... As I was watching the video, I did not see James shedding one freaking tear. Probably, he cried, literally, too much over the matter. However, if it were for me... I would look like a baby. Congratulations over EVERYTHING.

I had just gotten out of the gaming slum over the summer. Then around november I was pulled back in by my friends. My grades were just starting to slip, then I saw this video(s) and I realized I should stop and put video games in the back seat. Thank you james, you've inspired me.

*video ends* Ok, we can all weep tears of "Oh my gosh so touching and beautiful" now.

So melodramatic.

Ok, I don't want to offend anyone, but I do want to say this: I personally think you should "try again". While this is an amazing story, it simply isn't extra creditz. I am glad you posted this, though, as this is actually a very important thing to think about. Buuuut, I don't feel as though you were defending the medium, just talking about one man's incredible journey to recovery. I think you should talk about this subject again, now having obvious authority on the topic.

Just some facts I realized(or was reassured) over the last months:
1: No part of life can contain everything.
2: You have to rely on your own opinion(and make it reliable), this will make you imune to manipulation.
3: You can never really judge what you didn't experience.
4: Friendship is magic, hate is for losers (and most times just pathetic).
5: Life is about whatever you make it.
6: Realism is much more about possibilities than probability.

In my elementry school life I have been rejected in most social groups. During middle school I turned to games and have enjoyied life with the 'Gamers'. In that time I've played during school days and my grades started to slip, also in the weekends I literally played all day. I had some friends that have fallen into the pit of doom of gamer complusion. I have thought that I've fallen into the pit too. I decided to put the controller down, and I enjoyed High School as a Freshman. Life is Good...
