Hahaha Im sorry I just cant believe people (especially women) are more outraged at Michael Vick instead of other NFL players currently playing that have been arrested for beating their wives. Where were the protesters and signs for the guys who beat their wives? How can I take you people seriously?

@settings99 personally i could care less about most of their wives because for the most part they had a choice to leave and chose to stay for whatever reasons. The dogs on the other hand had no choice and went through a lot more than beatings. On top of this, its not the lives of the dogs I'm worried about, its the mental state of that man and the fact he's a role model for others.

I support Main Line Animal Rescue. They are donating 5 lbs of dog food to shelters for every time Michael Vick tackled. For the comment about us being no better than Vick for eating animals; I eat pork that doesnt meat I'm going to start fighting pigs... People eat meat that doesnt make us bad. Vick killed dogs for fun. I eat animals to live! There is a big difference!

I find your comment interesting. While I agree that dogfight is horrible, I see no difference between Vick and those of us who eat animal products.

Vick found pleasure in watching dogs suffer. We take pleasure in eating meat milk and eggs that come from tortured animals.

the way I see it is that theres no difference between vick any other omnivore out there.

Erm no its not natural for dogs to fight this way. They are bred to be powerful, tuff, everything to make them good at fighting, but that does not make them a fighter. The abuse and they way they are treated is what makes them fight. Any dog can be tought to fight this way. They just wont last as long or cause as much dmg. . It really has nothing to do with the breed. This breed is just as loving as any other dog if treated right. No, it's deff not natural.

Have any of you read up on the breed of this dog and what it was bred for? It is natural for these dogs to fight each other it is wrong but seriously this is natural for dogs. It would be like someone taking away girls makecup or shopping sprees that is matters too or taking away guys cars like corvettes or corvairs whatever it might be. This is all natural. But i don't like the idea of dog fighting you have me there but keep that in mind what i said.
