1982 television commercial for Ansett Airlines, promoting their new fleet of Boeing 727s and 737s, and boldly aspiring to be not only the best airline in Australia but possibly the best in the world!
At the time, there was a bit of a downturn in air travel, and a larger fleet of smaller aircraft was the way to go. TAA mistimed the introduction of its A300s rather badly. But in a couple of years' time, numbers were up again and Ansett was busily buying 767s to up the capacity on its main routes.
oh yeah extinct to the ground today.
